The Los Angeles Chargers announced Tuesday that they’ve re-signed WRย Geremy Davis to their practice squad.
The Chargers’ practice squad now consists of:
- G Brett Boyko
- WR Andre Patton
- WR Artavis Scott
- RB Andre Williamsย (Exception)
- DB Craig Magerย (Exception)
- TEย Braedon Bowman
- LB Nick Dzubnarย (Exception)
- DB Jeff Richards
- DE Isaac Rochell
- WRย Geremy Davis
Davis, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Giants back in 2015.ย He managed to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season, but was later cut loose at the start of the 2016 season.
The Giants added him to their practice squad a few months into the season before losing him to the Chargers and he finished out the year in San Diego. The Chargers brought Davis back on a one-year,ย exclusive rights contract this past March before cutting him loose coming out of the preseason.
In 2016,ย Davis appeared in three games but did not catch a single pass for the Chargers.
