Chargers Sign DT Dee Liner, Waive TE Daniel Helm

The Los Angeles Chargers announced Thursday that they’ve signed DT Dee Liner and waived TE Daniel Helm.

Liner, 25, wound up signing on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas State back in May of last year. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract but was waived coming out of the preseason.

The Chiefs later signed him to their practice squad, but he lasted just two days on the unit before he was cut loose. The Titans signed Liner to a futures deal back in January before waiving him a few months ago.

Liner has yet to appear in an NFL game.
