It’s worth mentioning that signing him to a contract won’t impact a team’s 2019 compensatory picks, given that he was released this offseason.
Pouncey, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2011. He was entering the fourth year of his six-year, $52.438 million contract that included $22 million guaranteed and set to make a base salary of $7.97 million when the Dolphins released him.
In 2017,ย Pouncey appeared in all 16 games for the Dolphins and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 47 offensive tackle out of 85 qualifying players.
