Rand Getlin of NFL Media reports that the Chargers have signed LB Zack Hodges to a contract Monday evening.
Hodges, 24, originally signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Harvard back in May of last year. He was unfortunately cut loose at the start of the season, but later signed on to the Rams’ practice squad a few months into the season.
Los Angeles elected to bring Hodges back on a future/reserve contract before placing him on waivers a few months ago.
During his college career at Harvard, Hodges recorded 118 tackles, 26 sacks, five forced fumbles, three recoveries, an interception and five pass defenses.
