Field Yates of ESPN reports that Chiefs DE Breeland Speaks, who is currently on injured reserve rehabbing from a torn ACL, has been suspended for the next four weeks of the 2019 season.
Speaks, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2018. He agreed to a four-year, $6,110,516 contract that includes a $2,516,740 signing bonus with the Chiefs before being placed on injured reserve coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Speaks appeared in all 16 games for the Chiefs and recorded 24 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble and two recoveries.
