Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star reports that Chiefs LB Kevin Pierre-Louis was arrested Thursday night and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, THC and drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid driver’s license and failure to display a valid license plate or current registration.
According to the report, Pierre-Louis was stopped by Kansas Highway Patrol and later arrested.
Pierre-Louis, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2014. The Chiefs traded LB D.J. Alexander to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for Pierre-Louis last summer.
Pierre-Louis played out the final year of his four-year, $2.605 million contract and will be an unrestricted free agent in the coming months.
In 2017, Pierre-Louis appeared in 14 games for the Chiefs and recorded 41 tackles, no sacks or interceptions and two pass defenses.
