The Kansas City Chiefs have placed WR Mecole Hardman on the COVID-19 list on Wednesday, according to Field Yates.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Hardman, 22, is a former second-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2019. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year rookie contract.
In 2020, Hardman has appeared in nine games for the Chiefs and caught 25 passes for 395 yards receiving and three touchdowns to go along with 16 yards receiving. He also has totaled 148 kick return yards and 66 punt return yards.
