Chiefs Re-Sign CB Josh Hawkins To P-Squad

The Kansas City Chiefs officially re-signed CB Josh Hawkins to their practice squad on Monday.

Here’s the Chiefs updated practice squad:

Hawkins, 25, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina back in 2016. He managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his first two seasons in Green Bay, but was among their final roster cuts this preseason.

After a brief stint on the Panthers’ practice squad, Hawkins signed on to the Chiefs’ taxi squad a few weeks ago.

In 2018, Hawkins appeared in five games for the Panthers, but has yet to record a statistic.
