The Kansas City Chiefs announced Thursday that they’ve re-signed DT Stefan Charles and waived DE Rakeem Nunez-Roches.

Charles, 29, originally signed on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Regina back in 2013. He was later signed off of the Titans’ practice squad by the Bills and spent three years in Buffalo.
Charles had brief stints with the Lions and Jaguars before signing on with the Chiefs this past January. He signed on with the Chiefs as an unrestricted free agent back in March but was cut loose earlier in the week.
In 2016, Charles appeared in 12 games and recorded 12 tackles and no sacks for the Lions.
