Terez A. Paylor reports that the Chiefs have signed former Ravens OT Jah Reid to a contract on Sunday.

The Chiefs have yet to make a corresponding move to free up a roster spot for Reid, who is not available for the practice squad.

Reid, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Ravens back in 2011. He has played out his four-year, rookie contract with the team before testing the free agent market this past offseason.

The Ravens elected to bring him back on a one-year, $745,000 contract. However, he was among their final roster cuts on Saturday.

Last year, Reid appeared in just four games for the Ravens before he sustained a broken hand that cost him the remainder of the season.
