Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Kansas City Chiefs are signing formerย Kansas CBย Kevin Short, who wound up going undrafted in Thursday’s Supplemental Draft.
- According to Wilson,ย Short receivesย a standard three-year contract for an undrafted rookie.
Clemson’s Isaiah Battle was the only player out of the seven supplemental draft prospects who was selected by the Rams in the fifth-round on Thursday.
Shortย never played at Kansas after transferring fromย Fort Scott Community College. Heย declared academically ineligible for last season shortly after he signed onย the Jayhawks and redshirting his first year with the team.
Short does offer greatย size at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, so he could be an intriguing player to watch during Chiefs’ training camp.
