Chiefs Tried Out 3 Players Including Ziggy Hood

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Chiefs brought in three defensive line for workouts including Dominique Davis, Glenn Foster, and Ziggy Hood.

Hood, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Steelers back in 2009. He played out his rookie contract with the Steelers before signing a four-year agreement with the Jaguars in March of last year.

However, the Jaguars elected to release Hood from injured reserve a few months ago. The Bears later signed him to a contract after they released veteran DT Jay Ratliff before cutting him loose in recent weeks.

This season, Hood has appeared in two games, but has yet to record a single statistic.
