The Kansas City Chiefs waived DT Risean Broussard from injured reserve on Tuesday, according to the league’s transactions release.
The Chiefs signed Broussard to a reserve/future contract back in January, but he was placed on injured reserve in the early part of June.
Broussard signed on with the Chiefs an undrafted free agent out of Hinds Community College back in May of last year. During his college career, he recorded 61 tackles (43 solo), six sacks, an interception and two forced fumbles.
