Chiefs Worked Out OT Donald Hawkins

Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star reports that the Chiefs worked out free agent OTĀ Donald Hawkins on Tuesday during their mandatory minicamp.

Hawkins, 25, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Texas back in May of 2015. He was unable to make the team’s final 53-man roster but was later claimed the Browns.

Hawkins had brief stints with the Browns, Cowboys, and 49ers before signing a future’s deal with the Panthers back in January of last year. He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was waived in November and later signed to their practice squad.

In 2016, Hawkins was active for six games.
