Colts DL Arthur Jones Suspended 4 Games For PED Violation

The NFL announced Friday that Colts DL Arthur Jones has been suspended four games for violating NFL performance enhancing drug policy.

This is hardly the type of thing the Colts want to hear regarding Jones, considering how disappointing he’s been since joining the team a few years ago as a free agent.

Jones, 30, Jones, 30, is a former fifth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2010. He played out his four-year rookie contract with the Ravens before signing a five-year, $33 million contract that included $16 million guaranteed.

Jones was set to make a base salary of $4.5 million for the 2016 season when he agreed to a pay cut earlier in the offseason.

Last year, Jones unfortunately suffered a serious ankle injury that forced him to undergo  surgery to repair torn ligaments, and subsequently led to him being placed on season-ending injured reserve before the start of the season.
