Colts HC Chuck Pagano Expected To Return On Monday

Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star writes that he expects Colts head coach Chuck Pagano to return on Monday.

Pagano was diagnosed with leukemia back in September, which is now reportedly in remission. Pagano has been working to regain his strength and stamina, but Chappell seems confident that the coach will be able to return following Sunday’s game against the Chiefs where they could officially lockup a playoff birth.

The Colts 2012 season has been nothing sort of incredible. Bruce Arians deserves all the credit in the world for getting this team that was completely overhauled during the offseason to play as well as they have. There’s no question that they’ve rallied around Pagano’s unfortunate diagnosis and they’ve really become arguably the best story in the league this season. It will be great to see Pagano coaching in the playoffs, assuming that they’re able to take care of business this weekend.
