The Indianapolis Colts announced that they have promoted CB Jalen Collins from their practice squad to the active roster and signed QB Phillip Walker to fill his spot on the taxi squad.

The Colts’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Krishawn Hogan
- OT Tony Garcia
- WR Steve Ishmael
- CB Jalen Collins
- OT DeโOndre Wesley
- TE Billy Brown
- DT DeShawnย Williams
- LB Tegray Scales
- LB Anthony Winbush
- TE Erik Swoope
- QB Phillip Walker
Collins, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Falcons back in 2015. He was in the third year of his four-year, $5.428 million contract and set to make base salaries of $928,439 and $1,175,159 over the next two years when the Falcons elected to cut him loose last season.
He signed on with the Colts’ practice squad last month after officially being reinstated from a 10 game suspension for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances before receiving an additional four-game suspension last December.
In 2016, Collins appeared in eight games and recorded 31 tackles, two interceptions and 10 pass defenses for the Falcons.
