The Colts announced on Wednesday they have signed S Rolan Milligan to the active roster and replaced him on the practice squad with RB Bruce Anderson.
Milligan takes the place of WR Devin Funchess on the 53-man roster, who was placed on injured reserve with a broken collarbone yesterday.
Here is the Colts’ updated practice squad:
- OL Jake Eldrenkamp
- LB Skai Moore
- CB Jalen Collins
- OT Jackson Barton
- WR Ashton Dulin
- DE Jamal Davis
- DT Brian Price
- WR Chad Williams
- RB Bruce Anderson
- OT Tyree St. Louis
Milligan, 25, wound up signing with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo in 2016. He was, unfortunately, waived with an injury designation a few months later and later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list.
The Cowboys elected to waive him with an injury settlement. Milligan signed on with the Lions during the offseason but was waived coming out of the preseason
Milligan was on and off of the Lions’ practice squad before the Colts later added him to their taxi squad in October. He re-signed on a futures deal for 2019 and joined the practice squad after being waived at the end of the preseason.
During his one year at Toledo, Milligan record 34 tackles, two interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, three pass defenses, and three forced fumbles.
