The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday that they’ve signed DT Kelcy Quarles to their practice squad.
The Colts’ practice squad now consists of:
- TE Mike Miller (Injured)
- WR Marcus Leak
- LB Luke Rhodes
- DB Tevin Mitchel
- WR Tevaun Smith
- G Adam Redmond
- QB Stephen Morris
- OT Pierce Burton
- G Kitt O’Brien
- DT Kelcy Quarles
Quarles, 24, signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina back in May. However, he lasted just a few months with the Giants before he was cut at the start of the season and later claimed off of waivers by the Patriots.
Since then, Quarles had brief stints with the Colts, Browns and Patriots before returning to the Colts towards the end of last season. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later added to their practice squad.
The Colts elected to cut him loose a few weeks ago.
In 2014, Quarles appeared in two games and recorded one tackle, one sack and a pass defense.
