The Indianapolis Colts officially re-signed LB Joshua Perry to their practice squad on Thursday.
The Colts’ practice squad now consists of:
- QB Phillip Walker
- G Ian Silberman
- TE Mo Alie-Cox
- WR K.J. Brent
- DB Ronald Martin
- TE Jason Vander Laan
- DB Denzel Rice
- DT Anthony Johnson
- WR Dres Anderson
- LB Josh Perry
Perry, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Chargers back in 2016. He signed a four-year, $2.95 million contract with the Chargers and stands to make base salaries of $540,000 and $630,000 over the next two years of the contract.
The Chargers waived Perry with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve list. Los Angeles cut him loose soon after.
Perry signed on to the Colts’ practice squad a few weeks into the regular season and promoted to the active roster last month. However, he was just recently waived to make room for S Clayton Geathers.
In 2017, Perry has appeared in two games but has yet to record a statistic.
