Joel A. Erickson reports that the Colts are re-signing DB Chris Milton to a one-year extension worth up to $1.75 million through the 2019 season.
Milton, 25, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent free agent out of Georgia Tech back in 2016. He was waived at the start of his rookie season and signed to the Colts’ practice squad before eventually being promoted in November.
Milton managed to make the 53-man roster in 2017 and was re-signed to a one-year extension last year. He was testing the market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2018, Milton appeared in 15 games for the Colts and recorded six total tackles, no interceptions, and one fumble recovery.
