The Indianapolis Colts announced Saturday that they’ve signed S Robenson Therezie to a contract and released DT Caraun Reid.
Reid, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Lions back in 2014. He lasted just over two years in Detroit before he was waived at the start of the 2016 season and later claimed off of waivers by the Chargers.
Unfortunately, Reid suffered a season-ending ACL tear last year and was placed on injured reserve. The Chargers elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.
Reid has had brief stints with the Lions and Redskins last season before catching on with the Colts in December.
In 2016, Reid appeared in seven games for the Chargers and recorded five tackles, one sack, a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown and a pass defense.
