The Indianapolis Colts released veteran RB Tashard Choice and waived DL Jake McDonough on Tuesday.
The Colts signed Choice off the street back in December after they placed RB Chris Rainey on season-ending injured reserve with an undisclosed injury.
Choice, 29, appeared in 15 games for this past season and totaled 170 yards rushing on 46 carries (3.7 YPC). His opportunities have declined in each of the past three years, so it’s fair to wonder if he’ll get much of a chance next year.
McDonough, 24, was an undrafted free agent out Iowa who originally signed with the Jets. The Colts added him to their practice squad back in December.
