Adam Schefter is reporting that the Colts have released veteran C Brian Schwenke on Sunday.
Schwenke, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Titans back in 2013. Schwenke played out his four-year, $2,624,260 contract with the Titans and signed with the Colts as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Schwenke frees up $1,000,000 in available cap space and created $300,000 in dead money.
In 2016, Schwenke appeared in all 16 games for the Titans and played a total of 248 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
