A few months back Indianapolis Colts S Melvin Bullitt mentioned that wasn’t planning on returning the to the team without aย long termย contact but that stance appears to have changed in recent weeks.
โI want to play in Indy again,โ Bullitt told Phillip B. Wilson of theย Indianapolis Star. โThatโs what Iโm planning on. But the reality is Iโm not signed with anyone.โ
Bullitt is no doubt one of the teams top offseason priorities considering that they lost Bob Sanders to the San Diego Chargers back in February.
Defensive end Robert Mathis has already said that he’s willing to wait until the teams addresses other positions before asking for a new contract. The Colts future success will hinge upon their ability to retain and sign talented players.
