The Indianapolis Colts announced Friday that they’ve signed LB Drew Lewis to a contract and waived LB Tre Thomas.
Lewis, 23, wound up signing on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado back in May. He agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract, but was placed on waivers earlier in the week.
During his college career at Colorado, Lewis recorded 167 tackles, five sacks, an interception, and seven pass defenses over the course of three seasons and 31 games.
