The Indianapolis Colts announced that the signed OT Mitchell Van Dyk to a contract on Monday and and waived G Isiah Cage with the injury designation.
Cage will likely revert to the team’s injured reserve list once he clears waivers.
Van Dyk, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Rams back in 2014. He lasted just a few months with the Rams before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season.
The Steelers later signed him to a future/reserve contract at the end of the year. Unfortunately, he was waived with the injury designation coming out of the preseason last year and officially waived a few days after this year’s draft.
Neither player has appeared in an NFL game.
