The Colts announced on Tuesday they have signed RB Darius Jackson and OL Gerhard de Beer to the practice squad and placed RB Bruce Anderson on the practice squad injured list.
Here’s an updated look at Indianapolis’ practice squad:

Jackson, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2016. Dallas waived him towards the end of the 2016 season and was later claimed off waivers by the Browns.
The Cowboys signed Jackson to a contract the following year, but elected to cut him loose as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players. He had a brief stint with the Packers before returning to the Cowboys last year.
Jackson was, once again, among the Cowboys’ roster cuts in August. He had an earlier stint on the Colts practice squad as well as with the Buccaneers.
In 2018, Jackson appeared in four games for the Packers and Cowboys and rushed for 16 yards on six carries (2.2 YPC).
Anderson, 22, wound up going undrafted out of North Dakota State. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Buccaneers but was waived coming out of the preseason.
Anderson had a brief stint on the Buccaneers’ practice squad before the Colts signed him to their taxi squad a few weeks into the regular season. He’s been on and off the practice squad so far this season.
During his college career at North Dakota State, Anderson rushed for 2,896 yards on 486 attempts to go along with 32 receptions for 448 yards receiving and 31 total touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 50 games played.
