Wilson visited with the Colts this past weekend and it appears as though everything checked out from their end.
Wilson, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Patriots back in 2012. He played out his rookie deal with New England before signing a two-year, $2.2 million contract with the Lions in 2017.
Wilson returned to Detroit on a two-year, $7 million deal in 2018. He’s been testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent since March.
In 2019, Wilson appeared in all 16 games for the Lions and recorded 96 tackles, one sack, no interceptions, two fumble recoveries and five passes defended.
We had him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
