Update:
The Colts announced that they’ve officially signed cornerbacks Chris Culliver and Corey White to contracts on Monday.
- The Colts also placed CB Darryl Morris on injured and waived G Blake Muir with an injury designation.
White, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Saints back in 2012. He spent three years in New Orleans before he was among their final roster cuts last year.
White had a brief stint with the Cardinals before the Bills signed him to a contract last April. The Jets elected to sign him to a contract this past March before waiving him with a settlement last week.
In 2016, White appeared in 15 games for the Bills and recorded 30 tackles, two interceptions and four pass defenses.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Colts are signing veteran CB Chris Culliver to a contract on Monday.
- Josina Anderson reports that Culliver receives a one-year contract from the Colts.
Culliver, 29, is a former third-round pick of the 49ers back in 2011. He spent four years in San Francisco before signing aย four-year, $32 million contractย that includedย $16 million guaranteed with the Redskins back in March of 2015.
Culliver was released last May by Washington and later signed on with the Dolphins. After opening the year on the PUP list, Miami cut him loose in November.
In 2015, Culliver appeared in six games and recorded 16 tackles and a pass defenseย for the Redskins.ย Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 110 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.
