Colts Waive DB D.J. Killings From Injured Reserve

The Indianapolis Colts officially waived DB D.J. Killings from injured reserve on Monday.

Killings, 23, signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Central Florida back in 2017. New England elected to waive him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit, and he was later waived with an injury settlement.

The Eagles signed Killing to their practice squad last year and brought him back on a futures contract this past January before eventually cutting him loose with an injury settlement. The Colts later added him to their taxi squad and eventually promoted him to their active roster.

Unfortunately, Killings was placed on the Colts’ injured reserve list last month.

During his four-year college career, Killings recorded 99 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, one sack, five interceptions, 17 pass defenses, one forced fumble, and scored one defensive touchdown.
