Colts Waive LB Deiontrez Mount From I.R. With Settlement

The Indianapolis Colts officially waived LB Deiontrez Mount from injured reserve with a settlement on Friday.

Mount, 24, is a former sixth-round pick by the Titans of the 2015 NFL draft. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2.428 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $525,000 when the Titans cut him loose coming out of the preseason last year.

The Colts signed Mount to their practice squad a few weeks into the regular season and was later promoted to their active roster. Unfortunately, Indianapolis recently waived him with an injury settlement.

In 2016, Mount appeared in one game but did not record a statistic.
