The Indianapolis Colts announced Friday that they’ve waived WR Griff Whalen from the Injured Reserve list.
Whalen was placed on injured reserve just a few weeks ago, so it appears as though he’s healthy enough to seek a new opportunity.
Whalen, 25, signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in 2012. Since entering the NFL, Whalen has been on and off of the team’s active roster.
This season, Whalen has appeared in 14 games and caught 19 passes for 205 yards receiving and a touchdown. He also contributed 244 kick return yards and 85 punt return yards for the Colts.
