New Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne has said that he hopes to play on offense as well as corner for the Cowboys.
“I would love to be a two-way player,” said Claiborne, who was recruited by LSU as a receiver before converting to CB during fall camp of his freshman year, via Dallas Morning News. “If they gave me that chance and opportunity to go both sides of the ball I’d love it. I won’t turn it down. I’d get in and give it one hundred percent.”
Claiborne, the sixth overall pick in the Draft, also said he would like to return kickoffs, which he did especially well at LSU. In 2011, he averaged 25.1 yards per kick return, returning one for a 99-yard score.
