The Dallas Cowboys signed former Chargers tight end Dante Rosario Monday afternoon, Nick Eatman reported on Twitter.
Rosario was the third tight end for San Diego last season, providing a memorable week two performance against the Tennessee Titans when he caught four passes for 48 yards and three touchdowns.
It doesn’t appear that he will have much of a different role in Dallas. He will be competing with Jason Witten, James Hanna and second-round pick Gavin Escobar.
