Cowboys Have Interviewed Florida CB C.J. Henderson, LSU DE K’Lavon Chaisson & Penn State DE Yetur Gross-Matos

According to Calvin Watkins, the Cowboys have held virtual interviews with Florida CB C.J. Henderson and LSU DE K’Lavon Chaisson

Dallas has also talked to Penn State DE Yetur Gross-Matos, per Michael Gehlken.

All three look to be options for the Cowboys in the first round at No. 17 overall and would fill positions of need on the defense.

Henderson, 21, is considered to be one of the top cornerback prospects in this year’s draft class and should end up being a first-round pick when all is said and done. 

Dane Brugler has Henderson rated as his No. 24 overall prospect.

During his college career at Florida, Henderson appeared in 30 games during his three years at Florida, recording 93 tackles, four sacks, six interceptions, two forced fumbles, and two touchdowns over the course of three seasons. 

Chaisson, 20, is considered to be one of the best EDGE prospects in this year’s draft class and could end up being a first-round selection. 

Dane Brugler has him rated as the No. 14 overall prospect in this year’s draft class.

During his three-year college career at LSU, Chaisson recorded 92 total tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, four pass defenses, and one forced fumble. 

Gross-Matos, 21, is considered by draft experts to be one of the best edge rusher prospects in the country and should be in the mix to come off the board in round one.

Dane Brugler has him rated as the No. 31 overall prospect in this year’s draft class. 

NFL Media’s Lance Zierlein compares him to former NFL DE Aaron Schobel.

During his three-year career at Penn State, Gross-Matos recorded 110 tackles, 17.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two recoveries over the course of 33 games.
