Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Cowboys have placed DB Leon McFadden on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
McFadden, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Browns back in 2013. He lasted just over a year in Cleveland before he was waived and later claimed by the Jets.
After brief stints with the 49ers and Cardinals, McFadden signed to the Giants’ active roster in 2015 and returned to the team on a future/reserve contract. However, he was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason last year.
The Cowboys signed him to their practice squad last season before eventually calling him up.
In 2016, McFadden appeared in nine games for the Cowboys and recorded eight tackles and no interceptions.
