The Dallas Cowboys officially DE Tyrone Crawford on the COVID-19 list Wednesday.
The Cowboys also signed P Hunter Niswander, but his contract was disapproved.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Crawford, 30, is a former third-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2012. He’s entering the final year of his six-year, $45.675 million contract that included $17.425 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $8 million in 2020.
In 2020, Crawford has appeared in nine games for the Cowboys and recorded five tackles and no sacks.
