The Dallas Cowboys officially placed practice squad DT Walter Palmore on the COVID-19 list Friday.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Palmore, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Missouri back in 2019. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Texans, btu was waived coming out of the preseason.
It took until last month for Palmore to sign on to the Cowboys’ practice squad.
During his two years at Missouri, Palmore recorded 27 tackles, one sack and two passes defended over the course of 16 games.
