Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post, citing a league source, reports that the Cowboys have re-signed OTย Darrion Weems.
Weems, 26, finished out hisย three-year, $1.44 million rookie contract and was set to be an exclusive rights free agent in the next few weeks.
Weems signedย on with the Minnesota Vikings as anย undrafted free agent out ofย Oregon back in 2012. Since then, he’s played for the Buccaneers, Colts and Patriots before later joining the Cowboys in December of 2012.
Last year, Weems didn’t appear in a single game, so it seems very likely that he’ll be asked to compete for a roster spot in training camp.
