ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Dallas Cowboys have signed former Bengals G Nate Livings to a five-year deal worth $19 million. Livings deal will pay him $6.2 million guaranteed.
He hasn’t missed a game in over two years which is certainly a selling point but it’s worth noting that Pro Football Focus has him rated as the #56 best available guard last year. Their numbers also suggest that he struggles against the run but is a serviceable pass blocker.
The contract is very large for a guy that hasn’t exactly put together great performances in the past.
