The Dallas Cowboys announced the signing of long snapper Brandon Harston and kicker Matt Wile on Thursday.
Wile, 23, signed on with the Panthers last May as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan. He was cut multiple times last summer before the Panthers ultimately elected to move on from him at the start of the regular season.
During the preseason, Wile handled the Panthers kickoffs, which included two touchbacks.
Wile will obviously have to compete for a job this summer, but it’s unlikely he’ll unseat Dan Bailey.
