The Dallas Cowboys announced Monday that they’ve signed S Tyvis Powell to a contract.
Powell was one of three players who worked out for Dallas on Monday including OL Brian Wallace and DB Channing Stribling.
Powell, 25, signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State in 2016. He was in the first year of a three-year, $1.62 million contract when Seattle decided to waive him.
The Browns later claimed him off of waivers but cut him loose soon after. From there, Powell played for the Colts, Seahawks, 49ers and Jets.
The Texans recently signed Powell to a contract, only to waive him a couple of days ago.
In 2018, Powell appeared in seven games for the 49ers and recorded six tackles and a forced fumble.
