Nick Eatmon first reported that the Dallas Cowboys traded DT Ben Bass to Patriots in return for CB Justin Green.
Green, 23, signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois last year. Green wound up on the team’s practice squad on two separate occasions, but he did appear in two games for the Patriots last season.
The Cowboys really need some depth at cornerback, even if it’s just a temporary solution.
Bass, 24, signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back in 2012. He wound up on the team’s practice squad after being released at the start of the season, but he did appear in two games and made a single tackle during his rookie season.
