Cowboys Waive LB Rashad Smith, Sign P Hunter Niswander To PS

The Cowboys have waived LB Rashad Smith and signed P Hunter Niswander to the practice squad, per the NFL’s transaction wire.

Smith, 23, signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Florida Atlantic following this past year’s draft. He was waived coming out of camp and re-signed with Chicago’s practice squad. 

The Cowboys signed Smith to their active roster off the Bears practice squad in September. 

Smith has yet to appear in an NFL game.
