Darrelle Revis on the trading block?

This is the type of rumor that gets people excited but usually lacks a creditable source. According to Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum, in an interview with ESPN 1050, he and Rex Ryan have discussed the possibility of trading Darrelle Revis but insisted that they “don’t have any interest in trading the player.” It’s worth noting that Jets owner Woody Johnson was asked about trading Revis and had a slightly different take on the situation. “We haven’t made that decision, but I doubt it.”

Given that talks between the parties seem to be going now where as of right, it seems very unlikely that Revis will end his holdout any time soon which should generate more and more interest as the start to the NFL season approaches.
