DeSean Jackson “Destined” To End Up Back With Eagles

Chris Mortensen reports that WR DeSean Jackson and the Eagles are “destined for each other again, barring the unforeseen.

This comes after Jackson announced that his time in Tampa Bay was over:

Jackson, 31, is a former second-round pick of the Eagles back in 2008. He spent six years with the Eagles before signing a three-year, $24 million contract with the Redskins back in 2014.

After three years with the Redskins, Jackson once again departed in free agency and agreed to a three-year, $35 million contract that includes $20 million guaranteed with the Buccaneers. He stands to make a base salary of $10 million for the 2019 season.

In 2018, Jackson appeared in 12 games for the Buccaneers and caught 41 passes for 774 yards receiving and four touchdowns. He has also rushed for 29 yards and a touchdown.

We’ll have more regarding Jackson as the news is available.
