The Detroit Lions have been busy today. Here are some recent notes regarding them:
- Former Dolphins S Chris Clemons is visiting the Lions today, according to a league source, via Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.
- Another safety that the Lions have interest in, Thomas DeCoud was also in Detroit today, but left without an offer according to a source, via Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.
- According to a report from Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, the Lions have re-signed DT Andre Fluellen.
It is clear that the Lions have prioritized improving the back end of their defense. They have met with a series of safeties in addition to DeCoud and Clemons, including James Ihedigbo, in an attempt to replace FS Louis Delmas.
Fluellen has spent the majority of his six-year career in Detroit. He was only involved in 170 snaps last year however, so it is likely that his deal will be for the minimum.
