Dolphins Are “Very Confident” About Their Chances Of Signing Peyton Manning

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that a team source has informed him that the Dolphins are “very confident” about their chances of signing Peyton Manning.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is reportedly willing to spend as much as anyone to land Manning but as Salguero points out, Miami was pretty confident that they would’ve hired Jim Harbaugh and Jeff Fisher but that didn’t exactly work out.

There will be plenty of teams interest in Manning and the Seahawks, Cardinals, Redskins, Jets and Chiefs have all been linked to him at some point. One last note; the Dolphins will play the Colts next season which would no doubt be a circus if they do end up signing him.
