According to Safid Deen, Dolphins first-round LT Austin Jackson returned to practice, meaning he’s been designated to return from injured reserve.
This opens a three-week window for Jackson to practice with the team before Miami has to add him to the active roster.
Jackson, 21, was a two-year starter at USC and was a first-team All Pac 12 selection before being selected with the No. 18 pick in the draft by the Dolphins. He agreed to a four-year, $13,640,349 rookie contract that includes a $7,480,254 signing bonus.
The contract includes a fifth-year for the Dolphins to pick up for the 2024 season.
In 2020, Jackson has started four games for the Dolphins at left tackle.
